Privacy Policy — One More Life
Effective: October 28, 2026
Summary — One More Life needs no sign-up or login. Your lives, collection and settings stay on your phone. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, photos or location. What leaves the phone is usage statistics and the information ads need, plus — only when you use purchases or albums — a random anonymous ID and your purchase records. The people and lives in the game are fictional, built from real statistics; they are not real people.
1. About this policy
This policy explains what information the One More Life team ("we") processes when providing the mobile app One More Life (com.onemorelife.app, "the app"), why, for how long, and your rights.
2. What we do not collect
- Real name, email, phone number or contacts — there is no sign-up or login.
- Photos, camera, microphone or precise (GPS) location — the app does not use these permissions.
3. What stays on your phone
- The life in progress and past lives, the collection and achievements, replay counts, and settings such as sound, vibration, language and speed.
- This is never sent to our server and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
4. What we process and why
| Information | Purpose | Processed by |
|---|---|---|
| App usage events (app opens, lives started and ended, replays used, etc.), app instance ID, device info (model, OS, language), approximate region (from IP), advertising ID | Usage statistics, improving the app, measuring ads | Google Firebase Analytics |
| Device identifiers such as the advertising ID, device info, approximate location from the IP address, ad interactions | Showing and measuring ads, managing ad consent | Google AdMob · Google UMP |
| App identifier | Fetching ad settings when the app starts | Our server |
| (When you use purchases or albums) a random anonymous ID the app creates, and a public purchase ID derived from it | Linking and restoring purchases on this install | Our server, RevenueCat |
| (When you buy) product, price, time of purchase and receipt — payment details are handled by Google Play; we never receive them | Granting and restoring purchases, refunds | Google Play billing, RevenueCat |
| (When you order an album or postcard) the record of that life (game seed and choices — a fictional life), a dedication you write, your sharing choice, and the number of reactions other players leave | Making album pictures and captions, share links and the public gallery | Our server → image generation service (OpenAI) |
| (Only if you turn on email restore) your email address | Sending a restore code | Our server, email delivery service |
All transfers use encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Ads and consent
The app shows Google AdMob ads (a full-screen ad at launch, a banner below the play screen, full-screen ads between lives, optional rewarded ads for extra replays, and an ad on the exit card). No ads appear on the birth certificate, death scenes or the record of a life. Users in the EU, UK and other applicable regions are asked for consent through Google UMP, and usage statistics follow that choice; you can change it at any time under "Privacy choices" in Settings. You can reset or delete your advertising ID or limit personalised ads in your phone's settings.
5. How long we keep it
- On your phone: until you uninstall the app.
- Anonymous ID and purchase records: until the service ends, so purchases can be restored (transaction records required by law are kept for the legal period).
- Albums and postcards: until you delete them or the service ends.
- Email restore codes: deleted once used.
- Information processed by Google: according to each service's retention policy (Firebase Analytics events up to 14 months).
6. Sharing, processors and international transfers
We do not sell your information. The information in section 4 is entrusted to the listed services only for the listed purposes and is not given to anyone else. These services may operate outside your country (for example in the United States).
- Google LLC — Firebase Analytics, AdMob and UMP, Google Play billing
- RevenueCat, Inc. — purchase management
- OpenAI — album and postcard pictures (only the fictional life record is sent, never your personal information)
- Cloudflare — delivering album pictures and share pages
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14 (or the age set by your local law) and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Your rights
Uninstalling the app deletes everything stored on your phone. To see or delete the anonymous ID, purchase records or albums held on our server, email us below and we will act without delay.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with its effective date.
